Meet Jason and Lucia: GTA VI's Dual Protagonists

For the first time in the modern era, a mainline Grand Theft Auto follows two playable protagonists in a partner-in-crime story: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval.

Lucia Caminos

Lucia is the first playable female lead in modern Rockstar history. She's recently out of prison and looking for a way to change her odds — fast. Her story sets the tone for the game's Bonnie-and-Clyde dynamic.

Jason Duval

Jason is a former soldier living in the Leonida Keys, entangled with local drug runners. He and Lucia are drawn together by circumstance and ambition.

Why dual protagonists matter

GTA V proved Rockstar can weave multiple playable characters into one story. With a couple at the center, GTA VI can switch perspectives, run parallel objectives, and build a relationship-driven narrative rather than a lone-wolf arc.
